Adam Luxford, former pro skateboarder and founder of Ride Ramps, built his first skateboard ramp as a teenager at his family home in the suburbs of Sydney in the 80’s. He and his mates built a 3.3m Vert Ramp out of nothing but a recycled cubby house, scraps and a maniacal obsession with skateboarding – they were fuelled with nothing but bubble-o-bill ice-creams and a burning desire to skate.

Our company was founded by Adam Luxford, a well-known Australian skateboarding legend, who has dedicated his life to advancing the sport and empowering others to do the same.
With thirty-five years of experience and knowledge under his belt, Adam Luxford founded Ride Ramps with the aim of making high-quality, affordable, skateboard ramps accessible to all.
The team at Ride Ramps believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy and excitement of skateboarding, and to progress and grow in the sport.
